Meet Carol

Perfect Image Salon has been providing personalized salon services in the Lancaster area since 1990. Owner Carol Coffin knew she wanted to be a hair stylist from the time she was a young girl. Carol pursued her dream and became a dual-licensed hair professional, obtaining both her beauty and barber licenses in 1983.

Carol's first salon was located at the Manor West Commons, where she had a staff of 8. But as the years went on, Carol decided she wanted to provide a more personalized, relaxing atmosphere for her clients. Today, Perfect Image Salon is a salon with just one stylist, that offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that makes clients feel welcome and at ease.

"I think my clients really appreciate the privacy of my salon. My clients receive my full attention. There's always time to chat. I play relaxing music and encourage clients to retreat from the world and concentrate on themselves while they are here," says Carol.

Carol stays up to date on the latest hair care techniques, hairstyles and hair care lines, participating in training classes on a regular basis. Carol also teaches other licensed stylists her advanced color techniques, including a unique foiling method she has perfected over the years.

In her spare time, Carol indulges her creative side as an amateur photographer, painter and writer. She also enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter, taking camping trips and hiking a variety of local trails.
